Why is the news media, seemingly, trying to use its influence to destroy the world economy?
Q. Maybe things are a little bit bad. But the news media seems to be pushing for things to be worse. I even know of a few people who have been laid off in preemptive lay-offs; the company that laid them off, technically, wasn't hurting yet. But they laid them off because they expected to be hurting in the future, mostly because of new reports and forecasts.

A. I'm glad someone else has noticed this. I agree with you totally. They blow everything out of proportion. However, things are bad. They helped raise the prices on gas too, or so I think.

Why is the news media making such a fool of Barrack Obama?
Q. Is the news media using Obama merely to sell news? Anyone with any insight can deduce that Obama hasn't got a real chance of being elected President of The United States. He'll get slaughtered worse that John Kerry if he overcomes the nomination. In fact no Democrat has any real chance of getting into The White House any time soon. When the moment of truth comes America is going to elect a strong leadership in the face of terrorism. Inspite of the Democratic Party led complaints against the Bush Administration, there's been no further terrorists attacks on the soil of America since 911. The Democratic Party is really nothing more than a front for gay rights organizations--a form of weakness that would inspire terrorsts to again attack… [cont.]

Do you think the news media will be accused of not aggressively covering the McCain/Palin campaign?
Q. With McCain trailing today by 14 points with people who will probably vote, Obama might win in three weeks by a landslide. Will the news media be attacked for being too soft on McCain/Palin just like the media was blamed after the invasion of Iraq? Gant -- that is like saying after Iraq was invaded, what difference does it make. I think the future of journalism is what is at stake...the press is often accused of being corporate and weak.

A. what does it matter, how can you act aggressively with an old man and a floozy, blonde wannabe? They couldnt win a fight against a baby with a rattle in a word war those two are pretty soft when it comes to defending their policies and ideals. Man even if the media attacked Palin she would break down in tears mumbling "Damn it I AM a Hockey mom,,, yess yess hockey mom my precious" I dont like either candidates views, polices, programs. I do respect Obama's passion and willingness to act aggressively. We need someone who isnt a puppet. I dont care what color or background. Just some one to clean up the crappin mess we are in or at least get the ball rolling. Politicians are like needles, got to choose which one hurts less when going in your… [cont.]
