Opposing Views is an American website where experts debate topics ranging from autism and child care to abortion and capital punishment. It was founded by Internet entrepreneur Russell Fine. Among its strongest proponents has been tech guru Andrew Keen, who described the site as "convincing proof that Web 2.0's cult of amateur content is rapidly going out of fashion" and that "the internet's new 'new thing' is expertise." "Expert" contributors of original content to the site include Zeyno Baran, Joshua Marquis, Wesley J. Smith, Elliot Dorff, Jacob M. Appel, Shazzie, Tibor Machan and Diana Furchtgott-Roth. Q. How did Hamilton and Jefferson's opposing views reflect the way in which we were raised? Asked by brookejorgensen - Thu Dec 4 22:30:28 2008 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments A. Jefferson saw the American peoples as a nation of farmers and our leadership as a "natural aristocracy" or the best of our stock. Hamilton had a more realistic view of humanity and its base organizational structure. The way the Jefferson understood American life has been unrealistic for quite a while; especially in light of his history as a slaver. You could understand Jefferson as the "liberal" voice of equality and fairness and the Hamilton as the voice of centerism and protection but that would be over-simplification. The Jeffersonian and Hamiltonian views are both out of date. Answered by Charles E. Umland - Fri Dec 5 02:54:26 2008 I need 2 articles with opposing views on a current topic? Q. Q. Seems like the point of this thing is to understand not beat people up for their points of view. I just see alot of thumbs down going to perfectly good answers just because people dont agree. Isnt thumbs down for if its a WRONG answer, not if you dont like what someone has to say because it doesnt line up with your beliefs?
